1. 1000-1900

   Cinque Terre terraced landscape. Dry-stone sandstone retaining walls built and maintained by the community from around the year 1000 onward shape the terraced vineyard and olive landscape that frames the village.

2. 1300-1399

   Tillbyggnad

   Campanile Bianco. The detached square-plan Campanile Bianco served as a watch and defense tower alongside its later bell function.

3. 1338

   San Lorenzo church. San Lorenzo was built in 1338 by the inhabitants of Manarola and Volastra;the Gothic-Ligurian church has three aisles, a baroque barrel-vaulted interior, and a rose window on the facade.

4. 1400-1499

   Tillbyggnad

   Oratorio dei Disciplinati and San Rocco hospital. The Oratorio dei Disciplinati della Santissima Annunziata and the former hospital of San Rocco form the upper-village civic and religious cluster.
