Hellenistic stoa. An eighty-seven-metre Doric stoa with forty-two columns was added as a monumental reception and processional element on the approach to the Temple of Athena Lindia.

Knights of Saint John fortifications. The Order of the Knights of Saint John reused the height as a defensive position, overlaying the sanctuary with crenellated walls and a governor's residence on top of older Byzantine remains.
- 1985
Ministry-led systematic study and restoration began on the acropolis monuments, with structural work on the stoa and the Temple of Athena Lindia and partial re-erection of column drums.
