1. 1877-1879

   Şale Pavilion first phase

   Sarkis Balyan designed the first wooden phase of the Şale Pavilion as part of the wider Yıldız palace expansion.

2. 1889

   Şale Pavilion second phase

   A second wooden phase of the Şale Pavilion enlarged the palace ensemble.

3. 1898

   Şale Pavilion stone phase

   The stone phase of the Şale Pavilion added a westernizing late layer to the Yıldız complex.
