The great frigidarium vaults collapsed in the late fourth century, after which parts of the complex remained in reduced use.
- 400-499
The great caldarium vaults collapsed in the fifth century and the destruction of the Carthage aqueduct under Vandal rule cut off the water supply that the baths required.
- 650
Mid-seventh-century spoliation began after final abandonment, with columns and dressed stone carried to later buildings around Carthage and Tunis.
